New Jersey Nights will transport you back in time through the sensational music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons! Smashing box office records in the USA and UK, the show is an extravaganza.

Opening night at The Comedy Theatre in Melbourne included all of The Four Seasons’ greatest hits, including Sherry, Rag Doll, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Let’s Hang On, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and many more. The award-winning West End singers, dancers, and live band make for a spectacular production that will make you fall in love with Frankie Valli all over again.

New Jersey Nights had great energy and the momentum kept going until the finale. Four male leads, Alexander Bartosch
Andrew Delong, Ricky Rojas and Josh Dever made up the New Jersey Nights. Each performer worked their magic as they hit all the right notes. Taking turns to front the stage, the vocalists help narrate the show and delve into the life of Frankie Valli. Their dynamic on stage was clearly visible and made for a strong production. Between songs we were given interesting facts about Valli that added to the allure of the show. The audience clearly loved the production as the cheers and audience participation only got stronger as the night went on. Given that a show like this thrives on banter it was the work of the vocalist that helped to create a rapport with the audience. The ensemble was outstanding and big band rounded out the production.

Highlight of the night was my personal favourite, “Unchained Melody”. As the hauntingly beautiful song radiated throughout the theatre, it made me realize just how powerful live music can be. I’m certain there were many audience members moved to tears by the intoxicating performance.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons. An emotionally charged performance and one that will stay etched in your memory.
